The following Survey works are in progress to explore the technical feasibility and financial viability of the projects:

New Lines

3.	Updating traffic Survey from Kalyan to Ahmednagar via Murbad New BG line (240 kms)	7.20	06-07	Revised Traffic chapters circulated by DYCOM/Survey on 29.1.09 Updated estimate of Mechanical vetted. Updated estimate of Civil under preparation. Vetting of Electrical & S&T Estimate awaited
4.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for New BG line between Veer and Harihareshwar (45 kms)	3.03	06-07	Consolidated TOR submitted to Railway Board for approval on 06.07.07. Civil Estimate sent to accounts for vetting on 02.02.09. Electrical, S&T & Mechanical estimate awaited.
5.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for New BG line between Karad and Chiplun (90 kms)	6.08	07-08	Consolidated TOR submitted to Railway Board on 09.01.08. Retender invited.
6.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for extension of Narkher-Badnera new line upto Washim via Dhanaj, Karanja and Mangrulpur (135 kms)	20.25	08-09	Consolidated TOR submitted to Railway Board on 23.12.2008. Civil & S&T estimate vetted. Electrical & Mechanical estimate awaited.
7.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for new line between Khandwa-Dhar via Khargone (190 kms)	28.05	08-09	Consolidated TOR is under finalization. RECT Survey tender being invited.
8.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for new line between Solapur & Jalgaon (450 kms)	67.05	08-09	Consolidated TOR is being put upto CAO(C) for approval before sending the same to Railway Board. RECT Survey tender opened on 26.3.09.
9.	Updating survey of new line between Rotegaon and Puntamba (47 kms)	4.70	08-09	S&T, Electrical estimate vetted. Civil estimate vetted on 30.3.09. Consolidated estimate under preparation
10.	Reconnaissance Engineering cum Traffic Survey for new line between Ballarsha and Surajgad (Etapalli) (130 kms)	19.50	08-09	Consolidated TOR put upto CAO(C) for approval before sending the same to Railway Board. Civil Engg Estimate sent to Account on 25.2.09.
